two people on the street something happens the entitled one is in trouble and will go to jail. They escape and enter a magic tower where you are changed if you reach the top. Everything is surreal.

The entitle one had been staying with his wheel chair bound relative in a mansion nearby, the relative meets with someone at his home. They laugh about the entitled one missing out on the opportunity to go to jail that he had been given as would have allowed him to complete a magic ritual to his benefit, which he had arranged as a favour to his grandfather the fairy king. the man he meets has healing powers but can't heal the the relative, the relative is actually planning a different ritual and knocks out the healer. Afterwards he realises that the healer must have been responsible for Edge plague which turned people into monsters in one night in a nearby city. After the healer wakes up the relative confronts him while hiding his role in the healer being knocked out. The healer realises that the relative has more movement than he should and that something is going on.

The companion of the entitled one was in the city the night that Edge Plague happened. The companion and someone else had been locked in a cage which formed an airlock from a school to an open grassy park. After being locked in by bullies some people in the turn into monsters, the companion and their companion lock the bullies in to the airlock with the monsters only to realise that there are monsters out side and that it is safer to go back in. The plague was a harrowing experience that turned people into caricatures/creatures often with wings, claws, or fangs.

The relative muses on what the healer must have done to make Edge plague happen - he must have been confined and traveled around the whole city in van, and had some negative experiences to enact the ritual that caused so many people to change in one night.

The relative is planning to enter the magic tower and do something.

 

The dream was very visual, relative wore a white suit and was shorter. Incident that would have sent the entitled one to jail was on a darkened suburban street with trees. Inside of the tower was made of yellow stone. The airlock space was made of chain link fence and happened in the twilight after sunset getting darker over time. The mansion had wide corridors, wooden floors and creamy yellow walls with plenty of light.


The rituals had very specific conditions including somewhat involuntary confinement, and making the life of the person enacting them fit into a particular story that was somehow related to the effect.
